Wenda Parkinson, Scandinavia 1955
British model Wenda Parkinson in one of the galleries of Skokloster, one of the great Swedish castles owned by Baron Rutger von Essen. The portrait in the background shows a favourite charger of Field Marshal Wrangel, of 30 Years’ War fame: the lilac-coloured angora and wool jumper suit is by Fredrica. Published in reverse in British Vogue, July 1955.
