Dinah Washington
American jazz singer and pianist Dinah Washington singing on stage at the Civic Opera House in Chicago, IL, 1960. Dinah joined Ray Charles and his orchestra for two consecutive nights as part of a "Soul 60" performance. The "Soul 60" line-up consisted of Ray Charles, the Horace Silver Quintet, Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and Dinah Washington.
