Crowd members holding hands during an impromtu performance by American guitarist Jimi Hendrix at the Newport Pop Festival, Northridge, California, June 22, 1969. Hendrix was joined by the likes of American rock drummer Buddy Miles and English singer-songwriter Eric Burdon of The Animals amongst others.
