Herbie Mann
American jazz flutist Herbert Jay Soloman, known by his stage name Herbie Mann, on stage at a jazz festival in Mexico, 1968. Earlier in his career he also played saxophone and clarinet, but Mann was among the first jazz musicians to specialise on flute.
