Sarah Vaughan

American jazz singer, Sarah Vaughan on stage performing at Newport Jazz Festival, Rhode Island, July 1958. Vaughan, who was nicknamed "Sassy", won a Grammy Award for Best Female Jazz Vocal Performance.
