Paul Chambers
Close up of American jazz double bassist Paul Chambers on stage performing at Newport Jazz Festival. In 1955, Chambers joined the Miles Davis quintet, of whom he stayed with until 1963. Chambers was in great demand as a session musician, and played on numerous albums during that period he was active, and many musicians wrote songs dedicated to him.
