Kid Ory
American jazz trombonist and bandleader, Edward "Kid" Ory performs on stage at Newport Jazz Festival. Born in Woodland Plantation near La Place, Louisiana, where he began playing music at the age of eleven, Ory is considered one of the main exponents of traditional jazz and the tailgate trombone style.
